Hole In The Wall, Grand Manan Island, NB

Hole In The Wall, Grand Manan Island, NB

Welcome Back!

This week I'm highlighting more photos from the Hole In The Wall area of Grand Manan. These include views from the area, which include, rock formations, fishing weirs, the ferry and the Swallowtail Lighthouse on a foggy afternoon! If you look closely at these, you will see a kayaker, a seal and a cormorant.

Sorry, I didn't post last week, I was under the weather on Sunday...tired out, achy, headache and sore throat. I thought that I was getting the dreaded cold that has been going around my family. Kevin got it Friday night! I have been fighting it all week as I've had the various symptoms, but I haven't actually got the full-blown illness yet!

Well, what have I been up to? Last Saturday, the girls and I headed to Ottawa for a surprise birthday party for my friend Anne, who turned 50 this week! She was surprised! It was a great day, but very long as we didn't get home til midnight!

This week at school went fairly fast as it was a short week. There was a PA day on Friday, so I got Thursday off as well! Yay! Accounting is very uninteresting...at least to me! :-) I will hopefully write the exam tomorrow and be done with it, I hope!

On Thursday, Brooke and I headed to the TO Zoo, as I had some coupons to use by the end of June. It was kind of a disappointing visit as it was very hot, which I don't like at all and there were a lot of school kids there! Sigh! A few of the animals that I wanted to see were not on display and the ones that were, were not very photogenic...sleeping and laying at the back of their enclosures! SIGH..oh well, you can't have a good visit every time, I guess!

Friday, Keturah and I went shopping as she was looking for a dress for her graduation. She found one! Saturday, we went hiking at Lemoine's Point. Didn't see too many birds, which was good, because we didn't take any seeds! We did see a lot of squirrels and chipmunks!

Studying and house stuff today! Have a great week!
